Rusty But Still Sharp Around The Edges
Here it the last round game that I played in the Six Man Swiss under 1400 section at Hamilton Quads yesterday April 30, 2011.
My final score was 1 win , 1 Draw and 1 Lost good for second place tie but no prize money since first place was a two way tie wity 2 1/2 points each. Both first place finishers split the prize money and I was left out in the cold.
One of the regular New Jersey masters Jim West who plays in this Hamilton Quad almost religiously once a month, Jim did not play in this quad yesterday and was noticeable absent. Rumor has it that Jim West is not fond in the change of playing rooms for the New Jersey and Pennsylvania chess masters. I can't confirm this so if Jim, if you read this blog maybe you can comment in the change in playing rooms for the masters.
Please note that Jim West chess blog can be found here: Jim West On Chess
